Since 1910, the Soons family has owned and operated the orchards, farm, and our retail market. 

As we enter the 2023-24 growing season, we're looking for responsible and enthusiastic individuals who will uphold our high standards and take pride in their work to create a market that is inviting, fun, and profitable. We believe in sharing our farming experience to inform our customers about where their food comes from and how it is grown. Local food is not only good for our collective health, but also for our quality of life and our county's landscape. 

 
As a team member you will interact with our customers, some who have been visiting us for decades, and some who are just happened upon us while visiting the area for the day. You'll also keep the market stocked and looking great. Each day you'll learn a bit more about our products, what we grow and how we grow it. We are authentic and caring with our customers (as well as our team members). We welcome feedback and are always learning and improving what we do. Our busy season runs mid-July thru December, with the fall harvest and U-Pick season being the busiest, with visitors from far and wide looking for some fun at the farm. In the months that follow, our local customers continue to visit all winter and spring, getting the best apples, donuts, cider and more. They have many options, but they choose Soons. Our job as a team is the make sure we continue to be their choice, willing to make the extra stop because they'll find friendly faces and great products here.

Before You Begin, Please:

** Look at your personal calendar to double check your general availability to work. If you are a student, please provide your school year and summer availability. We can work around your schedule within reason, but we ask that you are flexible with end times and are able to occasionally cover another team member in emergency. 

** A minimum commitment of 8 hours / two shifts per week is suggested for all team members.


Dates to Remember

* 2023 Season: This year we are closed to customers until peaches are ready in early/mud July. We will be doing training before that however, so anyone new hires will be expected to be available for some shifts before the store opening. We expect to resume daily year-round hours for the coming 2023-24 season.
