About Soons and who we're looking for... 

Our team is outstanding because we're picky! 
We're super particular with what we grow and sell... and members of our team :) 

Our market team includes mostly part-time folks with two full time managers. Many of our adults are "retired" and working with us to have fun with a great group of colleagues and customers (and make some dinero as well!). 

We're about personal customer service, a unique shopping experience and creating great memories. Customers come here - and return over and over - because our products are superior quality and our service is caring and friendly.

Since 1910, the Soons family has owned and operated the orchards, farm, and our retail market.
We believe in sharing our farming experience to inform our customers about where their food comes from and how it is grown. Local food is not only good for our collective health, but also for our quality of life and our county's landscape. 

 
As a team member you will interact with our customers, some who have been visiting us for decades, and some who just happened upon us while visiting the area for the day. You'll also keep the market stocked and looking great. Each day you'll learn a bit more about our products, what we grow and how we grow it. We welcome feedback and are always learning and improving what we do. Our busy season runs mid-July (when our peaches are ready) thru December, with the fall harvest and U-Pick season being the busiest, with visitors from far and wide looking for some fun at the farm. In the months that follow, our local customers continue to visit all winter and spring, getting the best apples, donuts, cider and more. They have many options, but they choose Soons. Our job as a team is the make sure we continue to be their choice, willing to make the extra stop because they'll find friendly faces and great products here.

For those over 21 we also offer a 401K plan with a generous match.

Before You Begin, Please:

** Look at your personal calendar to double check your general availability to work. 
If you are a student, please confirm with your parents. We typically do not hire for the summer only and all student hires are required to be available for fall weekends. 

** A minimum commitment of 8 hours / two shifts per week is suggested for all team members.
